La Ressource Pro

La Ressource Pro was founded in 2026 by Irina Chernikova, its Chief Economist.

Irina has worked in economic consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2011. The core of her recent work is real estate economics; her wider practice spans the energy sector (electricity and gas demand forecasting), damages estimation for commercial litigation, financial consolidation and forecasting (multi-entity revenue and expense statements), and natural resources economics (production functions), among other areas. The common thread across these fields is quantitative modeling. She holds a master's degree in economics from San Francisco State University and bachelor's degrees in economics and international relations from the University of California, Davis.

In every position she has held, Irina built the workflows and the code behind the analysis: procedures coded and documented to be replicated, and structured to scale into new areas. That discipline is now the foundation of La Ressource Pro.

After relocating to France in 2025, Irina decided to open her own practice to focus on her main passion: building economic models that explain how markets and the wider economy behave. La Ressource Pro is the economic intelligence company born out of that idea. La Ressource Pro Lab is where those models become interactive: move a model's drivers and watch the dependent variables respond. Topics follow client interest, and a custom model can be requested for any subject.

The mission of La Ressource Pro is to answer market intelligence questions with data and proven methodology.
